Fridge problem

a few days ago my mitsubishi fridge starts giving out loud knocking noise. the timing is not consistent. i tried isolating the problem and this is what i found.
whenever i switch on the fridge the sounds starts.
whenever i open the door or any of the drawers the sound stops.
anyone encountered the same problem?
anyone has any idea how to solve this problem?
i googled and there are many possibilities but none with the same exact symptom as mine.

a piece of ice was stucked inside the ice maker.

It is funny because
1) dragg is not a clone created solely for posting crap shit.
2) he genuinely believes this is a topic for AA.

Please phone Mitsubishi and ask for the Aunt Agony to help your fridge.I believe it's depressed by this clueless owner and it's possibly suicidal.
