Perhaps the best way to help him is by not replying or paying attention to his post??
No one can carry on with a show single-handedly. By showing interests and flaming him, you guys unknowingly contributes to his desire of seeing his post getting revive... probably this is what turns him on to see the many response/feedbacks...

That's a good one. Firstly the author, or rather the guy who post this knows very well what kind of response he would get. He knows people will tell him he's sick. Attention is obviously what he wants,as he has indeed gotten mine ,but if it is true, would he be posting this here?
