Yoz, I called this girl up today (like I call everyone up in class who does not attend classes), her sister answered, i said I want to speak to the older sister.... then i was put on hold for a while.... then the lil sister asked "Who is this",,, i said my name, i was put on hold for another while, then the lil sister said "oh.. she's sleeping...".
I am a paranoid guy, I have no intentions of courting this girl, i just wanted to ingratiate myself with her (and other people in class) by asking how/why/etc she was and why never go school etc etc, I do it with everyone... cos i rarely have friends and i think this is a good way to make friends.. by trying to be nice. Anyway...
Point: If u girls think that a guy is trying to chase u... and u dun like the guy... you will avoid him right? And why? Write a short essay based on the point question. -
write an essay??? guess u got to change ur way of expression a bit...haha.

as for me.. if i find out that guy interested in me.. but i dun haf the same feeling. i won't really avoid him.. maybe still continue to be his friend. but promise that he wont be that annoying .. keep sms me or keep calling me.. den i will realli avoid him and get piss off..i will usually try to give some hints.. hopefully he will understand....

Wait wait wait hold on, I don't even wanna court her, I don't even like her.... well... not yet anyway. I call people up all the time, and I have never called her up before to chit chat and do small talk, and most i call her (this particular girl) to enquire abt her health if she did not go to class (which has been only twice mind u), and also just to ask homework... (like "Hello we gotta do this this and that and this right? Okie bye... " *simple) I don't even wanna be her bf or anything... so i am just curious why she may want to avoid me, cos i don't think i done anything wrong. So i am curious if she thinks i wanna chase her, will that make her avouid me? That brings the general question, if girls think a guy wanna chase her, they avoid him wad right?

usually ppl wun call other ppl that they are not so good friends with isnt it? suddenly got a friend call u ask for ur health.. singaporeans usually dun do that isnt it? we jus mind out own biz usually hahaha.... jus make friends normally ba, iz a first step to try calling ppl, but for me i will feel puzzled y this person call me for? ya know?

That is because you Singaporeans lack grace to enquire about another person's possible situation be it good or bad, most likely bad. If someone don't turn up for class, i am naturally concearned so i call them up after school to ask after them. Clearly showing basic care and concearn for others is not Singaporean.

its just that such acts of concern are indeed rare, if almost non-existent (dun they have the same meaning?) and thus pple easily misinterpret such acts. -
I should say it's the cultural/social aspects here of the individuals. You cannot expect everyone to think/behave like you, likewise not everyone thinks/behaves like you.
Take every post with here with a pinch of salt. Not everyone thinks with their brain when they type, esp if you noticed, some posts were just posted becoz they wanted attention.

if someone i barely knew called me up at home when i was absent from class, i'd be quite annoyed.
