u cant think of how to keep a r/s alive but u can somehow does a few things that mk ur partner feel warm n happi.. even a simple concern can mk ur partner feel u care abt her... -

well.. she has juz come out from a 5 yr relationship with her ex..
she is kind of hurt dramatically.. very hurt... her ex did all kinds of atrocities to her.. lyk flirting.. even once tried to rape her..
yet she can tolerate him for 5 yrs... now she is very negative about love... and i'm trying to change her...and keep this r/s alive...its so sad such a nice ger is hurt by such a beast... -
Well, just be there to care, listen and look out for her. To keep a relationship alive it is not always have to talk and have surprises... but rather sometimes its good enough to be able to be by each other's side and not say a word. Its how you both feel! I strongly think you should reconsider the r/s you are having with her as she's definately not ready to commit wholly onto this r/s.
You trying to change her, is something which she would appreciate, but not what she would think of doing presently.

yeah.. thank god she is a catholic..at least she can talk to god.. her name is carolyn...
i'm trying to help her cope with her troubles...
i have asked her friends to help her put down her burden..
i have promised her i'll wait for her till one day she's bck to her normal self ..
but yeah... i'm NOT going to give her up,we were together some 4months after they broke....if i do i'm actually hurting her.. her ex is still trying to patch with her..i'm nv gonna let her be hurt by that beast again...

aiyar... how come u can run out of surprises wan? These kind of things can never finish wan mar. I always enjoy getting a kick out of surprising my gf.... hahaha... so fun!

Perhaps this society in which we live ie. 1 boy for 1 girl for ever and ever and ever blah blah blah... is simply wrong? Is it really possible to be committed to one person forever? If you and your partner have experienced everything together, won't it get boring? Which is why probably there is a need to see other people? This is why we have adultery and infidelity, perhaps that should be the way? Openness in an extreme way, anarchy heh. I dunno.
