Your journey will take about 30 - 40 minutes for the 975 alone.
From Toa Payoh INT/MRT to Pasir Ris Dr3 (Bus-stop name (Aft)Blk 601)
Which route will be faster?
1)TPY MRT to Pasir Ris then svc 88/58/358/359
2)TPY Svc 59 to Bedok Reservoir Road (Kaki Bukit Ctr) to svc 58.
3)TPY svc 88 all the way
4)TPY MRT to Bishan svc 58 all the way
5)Jalan TPY Svc5 to Pasir Ris INT then svc 88/58/358/359
If i'm correct, 1,2 should be faster? But which will be faster? And are there any faster ways?

2 will be the fastest if you are lucky. Lucky as in you won't be dragged due to it's frequency.
Yeah... Both of them have over 10 minute frequencies.. That's why i'm here to ask.

For me, I wil chose Option 2 or 4. Sv 58 frequency may be lagging behind but it's quite fast actually.

I'd probably choose 2. It would probably be the fastest cuz of the expressway. Remember that 5 goes a long route around simei. But i have another way up here...
8 to Tampines, MRT, then 58/88/358/359. 8 is fast, MRT is only 1 stop and that basically seals it. It might even be faster than 59 because it cuts out the long waiting time to turn into Kaki Bt Ave 1. An alternative would be 8 to Tam Ave 1 then 15 into Pasir Ris, which also works.
Hmm. But 8 takes almost an hour to reach Tampines right? By adding traffic and maybe crowding and speed slow down it may take longer? What about option 1? How long will it take at least? (Just for the train journey)

8 takes about 40 mins. It's quite frequent and thus buses usually bunch. Hmm about option 1, the train takes about 50 minutes. Cuz u need to go via city hall.
I'll be trying option 2 for the first time i go to elias cc.. then option 1 home.. after that if its slower i may try your method! thx guys. :)
i think taking service 59 to kaki bukit and changing 58 is best. it took me 30mins to get to ikea tam. (no jam)
the jam on ave 10 can be quite a pain!
NUS High to Temasek Poly, is 151 -> 8 the fastest?
If you don't mind walking, you can try 151 to St. Andrew Junior Sch near the junction between Jln Toa Payoh and Upper Serangoon Rd. Cross the road and walk to Serangoon Rd near St. Michael's Place. It will be around 200 to 300 metres and transfer to 23.
Other than that, your choice of route is quite fast.

Hi, does anyone know the fastest way to go from loyang ave(commando camp) or paris ris/tampines to delfi orchard?
Right now I am thinking of first taking 59 to safra tampines, then taking bus 5 to far east plaza or taking 518 to tang plaza, and finally walking straight to there, but I dunno if there is any better way to do it...
