considering all svcs have the same route for the particular stretch, just take the first of the four services that arrive.

72. But then again 50 min is too short.

50mins is a bit tough but you can take bus 72 to yio chu kang rd and change to bus 70 direct to SSDC.
if you want better control over your time you can take train. travelling time to yio chu kang MRT is 44mins without waiting time. -
How about service 168 to Jln Kayu, transfer to service 86 and walk? Not sure if 50 mins is enough.

Pasir Ris: service 53 to Upp Paya Lebar Rd or Upp Serangoon Rd, transfer to service 58.Tampines: service 72 to Tampines Rd, transfer to service 53 to Upp Paya Lebar Rd or Upp Serangoon Rd, transfer to service 58.

Tampines >>>>
Take 72 from Tampines to Tampines Rd, transfer to 53 to Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, transfer to 58.
Pasir Ris >>>>
Take 89 to Sengkang, transfer to NEL to Serangoon, take 58.
