how much does it cost to purchase a SBST 0405 DM
and 0405 CAC DM ? , before SBST scrapps them .
How much did NLB pay for the Molly Bus ?
I notice the NLB molly bus has a lifespan expiry , so does that mean it would be scrapped after that or infinite lifespan like the Gym bus ?
If I recall properly, SBST donated "Molly" to NLB
How can I differentshade Volvo Olympian 3 axle batch 1, 2, and 3? I believe those with blue and green seats and have all steel poles are Leyland Olympian 3 axle.

the Leylands are ranging from SBS9000S to SBS9199C.
as for Volvos:
Batch 1: SBS9200G to SBS9400X
Batch 2: SBS9401T to SBS9600K
Batch 3: SBS9601H to SBS9670H
Other than their registration plate, are there any physical differences between batch 1, 2 and 3?

if u look carefully, the front of Batch 1 have round lights, while Batch 2 n 3 hav rectangular ones. from the front view, Batch 2 n 3 hav yellow bars, while Batch 1 hav silver ones. at the rear, the Batch 1s hav a window at the upper deck, lyk the Leylands, while for Batch 2 n 3, there isn't a window at the rear. interior wise, Batch 2 n 3 hav red/green seats, while Batch 1 and the LOs hav blue seats.

This means that some of the VO3x look like leylands.

improvements are made on LO3x (Leyland) & VO3x(Batch 1). Now some of them had red aircon ducts and new flooring. Some LO3x even had added the black piece of rubber or leather at the offside (Beside the last window at the 2nd storey)
I would like to see the 92XX and 93XX as 2 sub batches. 92XX VOs have two emergency window on both sides (each on one side). 93XX does not have.

I boarded one of the improved ones once on service 31 and yes, it has red aircon ducts. I didn't take note of the flooring but it does not have a standing area and one blue seat's cushions had cracks.
At current, there are two Yutongs in Singapore. Regos (as mentioned) PA 7478P and PA 7621S. I would like to catch both of them. Does anyone have any info regarding about where these buses were last seen?

PA7478P (white in color, looks abit like Poh Lee transport but not Poh Lee transport)-Every Morning 7:13am to 7:15am at Serangoon Central (MRT)

I have a question about bus. Since young i notice that sometimes bus drivers, especially those who drive double deck buses, will rev their bus engine very high while stopping at traffic light. I notice this happens whenever a warning chimes comes on. Usually the bus driver will drive very slowly till they reach some place(bus stop or traffic light) safe to rev the engine until the chime stop sounding. Can someone enlighten me to this strange practice?

air pressure is too low, they rev the engine to up the pump a bit so it will raise the air pressure and hopefully stop that annoying ding ding ding

No Batch 3 except during IMF. The 2 Batch 2 were 9532Z and 9535R.
SBST has replaced the seat cushions on most of the Volvo Mark IV buses (Strider and DM3500) which gave them a fresh image. Why don't they do it for the CAC Merz O405, VO3x (batch 1 only) and LO3x? The seats on some of the VO3x batch 1 are tearing.
There are refurbished LO3x's. They need to get suppliers for the new cushion and test it out on a bus, then decide if they want to extend it. Not all LO3x's have been refurbished, and you are already commenting about VO3x. And it's all budget.
O405 CAC's are going off soon.
