Maybe only 4 KUB for Service 5.
But still KUBs are suitable for shorthaul/feeders and possibly the high demand like 66.

1) What brakes does the bus have? it is powerful
2)Is the engine a straight 6 diesel or inline 4 turbo?
3)What is the difference between the demo k230UB and the current batches of the 230UB?
4)Is the bus equipped with a ZF or a Voith Gearbox?
5)I understand that the bodywork is by Gemilang. Is SBS8030L bodied by Gemilang as well?
6)Are the K230UBs replacing the N113s and the 0405 on Svc 57?
Thanks!

6) Yes.
1. All-wheel disc brakes instead of drum brakes (as used on older buses) means more powerful (but sudden/rough) braking performance.
2. The K230UB has a 5-cylinder inline turbocharged, intercooled diesel engine with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) that displaces 8.9-litres (Scania model DC9).
3. Bodywork is by Gemilang.
4. Transmissions is ZF-Ecomat 4 (model 6HP 504C) - the latest generation of Ecomat transmissions designed to mate with the newest Euro 4 and Euro 5 engines.
Regards,
Dave
