SMB 0005Y On Service 188

The white wheel rims make the whole bus look "toyish"
.
Then again, SMRT doesn't take it's bus business seriously...

The buses look so toyish lol
SMB4A on Service 851

If SMRT chose to paint the rims black, then another round of "omg dhatz so ugly rimz" will come about in the buses forum.
White, makes the bus looks toyish. But better then black.
lol

but will turn grey in a week's time of continuous running. SMB1H is a gd example
i do think if the buses are painted black then it would fit the colour on the exterior of the bus.

If silver (original colour of the rims), then it'll be too similar to SBS Transit especially to the MAN demo they have now apart from the company colours. SBS Transit used sliver for all of their buses le. TIBS used to be a company that has unique buses/bodywork, SMRT might have inherited the tradition lol.

What do you expect when both companies have buses that bodywork is being done by Gemilang and both have rims from the same company.
Inherited the tradition of TIBS ?
Seriously, looking at TIBS and SMRT..
Its a World of difference.

Saw Phaik Hwa ruined it. Blame her.

In layman's terms this is the harsh fact. Look no further than the Service Guides from TIBS and the ones from SMRT.

Well, maybe I should rephrase my original post.
Saw Phaik Hwa single-handedly ruined and drove into the ground the whole of SMRT and Trans Island at the same time.
Ok, well while the others are hunting down for the new SMRT bus.. I have some photos taken today. (these pix taken along Hill St (for sv 33 & 107) and the vicinity of Bugis area (for Sv 56 & 100)
