If SMRT chose to paint the rims black, then another round of "omg dhatz so ugly rimz" will come about in the buses forum.

i do think if the buses are painted black then it would fit the colour on the exterior of the bus.

If silver (original colour of the rims), then it'll be too similar to SBS Transit especially to the MAN demo they have now apart from the company colours. SBS Transit used sliver for all of their buses le. TIBS used to be a company that has unique buses/bodywork, SMRT might have inherited the tradition lol. -

Saw Phaik Hwa single-handedly ruined and drove into the ground the whole of SMRT and Trans Island at the same time.
