no sports bikes for me.Hmm...lets share stories then.
I know of fjr being cheaper then the STX, but it still has the inherent problem with the front suspension/tensioner after 1 year of usage.
can folks here advise are tensioner/suspension the same thing?
Sorry, I cant ride ST11/STX or the FJR. My legs too short.

i can't comment on my FJR yet because it hasn't gone past 1 year, with the problems you've listed i hope they fixed it on the '06 model already.
but i do know i love the FJR for now, and like what the bike magazine calls it "a rocketship of a tourer" with 145bhp coming out of a tourer, the power ain't bad.

less speeding problem and easier to repair or replace parts.
the gix 1000 is also a nice choice.
avoid going for the yamahas cos of their persistent suspension problem. 1 year and it wears out too fast.
any r1 and r6 riders care to comment?Like they said : "Always trust a Honda!"

Just spoken to my friend, he mentioned to date the issue is not solve for new CBR1000.
If you already have 1, when the problem arise, you have a few option, to change a brand new magnetic coil which cost a few hundred dollars or to recoil the old 1 which will only last perhap another 3 month, depending on the rider or sell the bloody bike.Edited by MoNsTer 14 Oct `06, 12:23PM
