If the rider is conveyed by ambulance.
What the TP will do is to try to take pics and measurements of the accident scene, the damages and the possible damages on the bike, the kerb, road, trees or the lampost.
And they will summon the tow truck and have the bike towed to the TP Pound.
And after the TP have interviewed the owner of the bike and the accident witness, they will issue a simple letter tot he owner of the bike.
The bike owner can then collect the bike from the TP compund or arrange to have the bike towed to IDAC for further assessment before towing it to a workshop.
Recommend that the bike owner bring along a camera to the TP pound and take pics of the damages to the bike himself/herself. Cos these pictures can help to tell the investigators later on, where actually was there a damage with another vehicle and help to establish your claim against another motorvehicle user in issues of a accident.
In cases of self skidding, the TP will then eventually be filing those pics with the relevant authority to have the biker made good the damages to those public property.
