was riding to Mersing Malaysia for Bak Kut Teh as a member of a small contingent of small bikes (sparks, waves & pulsars) with the goldwings, st11s & vfr old men riders.
I ran over a pothole in Malaysia roads....the front wheel run thru it fine, but the back wheel was thrown sideway onto the side of the road kerb where it dips down to a path of yellow sand.
I obviously used my right palm & right knee to break the fall.
The right knee was thankfully encased in my riding pants knee guard so it was fine.
The right hand had bruises at the palm and the wrist broke out as a fracture. there was another fracture at the arm.
Fellow riders says they saw from their rear mirrors and 3 of them saw in front of them that they saw a cloud of yellow smoke and guessed that a rider had fallen.
I had rolled horizontally onto the Bike Lane and was consious. (I totally dont remember it. my memory stops at GP Esso and woke up at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.) But the rider who pillon me back to sg and tan tock seng says that i am consious and kept asking him in a dull voice "how did i fell?"
Ayway, I liked to thank a busa rider for taking pics of the scene of the accidennt so that i can see what happened and piece the event together. he was embraressed that he was taking pics but i was more grateful.
My bike now is no longer recognizable as a new sub rider changed everything for me. From new fairings to sports rims.....

we can still go touring..just most likely i am in a twin cab pickup as a passenger, the right wrist wont grip the steering wheel for 6 months.
