hi. im just wondering if anyone has a phone tat has a wifi function. Just asking can the wifi function onli work in singapore alone if the phone is bought from singapore or can it actually be used in other country wifi hotspot area as well? cuz im bringing my hp phone to korea and it has a wifi function but just wondering if it can actually work in the hotspot area in korea or onli in singapore? also about the new sony ericsson G900 model. i understand it has a wifi function but can we use the phone wifi function and use it to go to msn messenger? sorry for asking so much. thanks

It can work in any hotspot that supports wi-fi. But depending on the place that offers wi-fi, to connect, you may need to set up authentication via WEP, WPA, etc. Some places like hotels, the wi-fi is not free like Singapore wireless@sg. Once connected, you may not be able to start application like MSN straight away. Like wireless@sg, you need to login through a browser first.
