Clean rifle, lah ~lol~ Lagi best find one corner & sleep, otherwise you'll feel more irritable when the mosquitos come out in late afternoon.
Learn to relax & accept a range shoot is always draining & cannot be shortened: 1st shot usually set at 7:30, so must always move out way earlier (to journey to the ulu range); night shoot cannot start until totally dark, so must typically wait until 8-plus before commencing &, if lucky, finish the whole thing by 11:30.
Consider yourself lucky no need to do butt party anymore, unlike last time.

During my NSF/NSmen time, all my nite shooting first rd go off 630-645pm. Never later than 7pm and since the time still early, its so bright wor. The Number 1 to 3 detail group all can get full points whereas my turn comes, its total darkness. I shoot very badly.

Hmm, we were not allowed to clean our weapon at the range after final inspection before firing.

reminds me of my combat shoot in unit. it was kinda small scale so we were able to finish day shoot by noon. then we slacked the whole afternoon for night fall to continue the night shoot. most of us took a nap.

actually for those taking range in your own camp which has it's own rifle range, do u get to go back to bunk for example the day shoot finish early and come back at night?
or is there a rule saying once u step into the range u cannot leave, for fear of u taking out expanded rounds maybe?Edited by Gordonator 20 Jan `08, 10:48PM
