eg. 1 year or 6 months before ur enlistment date, u or ur parents hired a personal trainer, to train u up...
esp. if u r those overweight kind, can't pass napfa kind. then the personal trainer help u to lose some weight through exercise n train up ur fitness, stamina n strength so u can be able to pass all the napfa stations.
so at least u don't have to go through the ptp or obese bmt batch. n also being fitter means u can better cope with the demanding physical training during NS.
anybody or u know anyone who done such? so how is the personal trainer? train how many times per week? in the end was ur fitness goals achieve? therefore did u get bronze or silver for napfa before enlistment? how much weight did u lost?
etc etc, do share with us ur experience.

but if pass napfa b4 enlist will get 2 months reduction right? n besides i think its good to train up early n be fitter so u wont find it to siong during bmt

Bascially it's good that you have a plan to come out with and of cos if you pass your napfa there will be a 2 months reduction but not a lot of ppl are doing these like what you said hire a trainer and train you till you pass your napfa with either silver or gold.

there are the pre enlistees amplitude tests, there is the peer appraisal at the end of bmt, there is the grading system during bmt, there are good academic results, some even said if you are handsome you got high chance.... -.-|||
i have heard of the most logical and ridiculous reaons yet but still don't have a correct answer from someone.
maybe we can carry on to wait for someone at CPC to enlighten us.
actually i don't have to care also....ORD-ed-ed-ed-ed-ed-ed so long ago loh!
