    • Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has hit out at manager Rafael Benitez and hinted he could be set to leave Anfield in January.

Sissoko has been left out of the Reds' squad for their crucial UEFA Champions League showdown against Marseille at the Stade Velodrome.

The Mali international, who started his career with Auxerre, has made just one appearance in the Anfield outfit's group stage fixtures, the 1-0 home defeat by the French side.

Former Valencia player Sissoko insists he plans to hold talks with Benitez once the transfer window opens and wants to be a regular in the first-team.

He told radio station RMC: "I am really mad. The match is played in France, all my family is there and wanted to see me on the pitch.

"I respect that choice, but we will talk in January.

"That is quite a long time for me to ask myself the question (about leaving). I am not attracted to play one match in five."

    • Thanks a Billion for the breaking news.

Momo, please do some more damage to your relationship with Ah Ben.

Please get yourself sold next month.

His outburst is timely and appropriate.

He is a excellent player and deserved a first team appearance so that he can entertain the fans.

But, his type of entertainment is too strong for fans like me to take.

He gives me the heart attack and high blood pressure when he tripped himself over a soccer ball with no opponents challenging.

    • Kengster does not deserve the CL medal and FA Cup medal cos he was missing for the whole season.

For his present performance, he may earn his contract extension if he can create more goals.

But, after he signed his contract, he should be reporting back to Anfield sick bay for his hibernation.

He is also Ah Ben's pet.

Juventus keen to resurrect Sissoko transfer

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri is hoping to resurrect a move for Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko.

Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli said last week the club would not make any signings in the January transfer window - negating Sissoko's statement that he was 'very close' to securing a move to the Italian club.

But Ranieri still hopes to be reunited with the Mali international after working with him at Valencia.

'Sissoko could arrive,' Ranieri told radio programme Anch'io lo Sport. 'He is another piece of the jigsaw to add to my team.'

Sissoko joined Liverpool in the summer of 2005 but has struggled to hold down a starting place and Rafael Benitez has confirmed the 22-year-old can leave if the right offer comes in.

One player who could make way for Sissoko is Tiago - who Ranieri shelled out £10million for in the summer.

The Portugal midfielder has started just four games for Juve since moving from Lyon, and Ranieri admits he is at a loss as to why the 26-year-old has failed to make an impact at the Stadio Olimpico.

'Certainly, people were expecting something more from certain players - that's undeniable,' added Ranieri.

'But being unable to fulfil expectations is something that can happen when you pull on the Juventus shirt.

'Tiago? He is my biggest worry, he has class and he doesn't lack anything to do well. I'm very concerned by it.'

Ever since his severe eye injury ...he's not the same again .

But funny enough ... don't Ranieri knew his eye injury caused him to lose his form in Liverpool ?

Anyway 13 million euros la , meaning in pounds , not even 10 million pounds .

This deal is crucial for Liverpool , meaning we have the 7 million pounds downpayment for Mascherano .

The rest can be paid by instalment to that Iranian owner .

    • Some players are meant to play at a slower pace league .

Sissoko is very good when the pace of the game is slower .

Anyway he's a born destroyer , even a better destroyer , if even more time to destroy . Mr. Green

English game too fast for him to think how to destroy beautifully . Mr. Green
