      hi, why is it i did not get my promotion even to sc cpl even if i have a poly diploma? i failed my eng o lvl so i understand i can’t get sc sgt but not even cpl? i dun understand. someone enlighten me.

      uh? i never did anything major mistake during my service so far and my mc rate was rather low 1 day for that year.

      but i did remember when i did the sar form or sth they did not reflect i was a dip holder cuz i receive the main cert quite late but still i did submit a copy of it.

      for direct CPL scheme (which in the sense, when u pass out from Tracom u are a CPL) u must at least have a Local dip or A level with a pass in english in O level.

      if u dun fufil the above requirement, u are ineliglible for the direct CPL scheme. Hence u are unable to be promoted to SGT. As u are only allowed to be promoted once in ur NS life.

      to be eligible for promotion from SC to CPL, u must have at least a A or B in ur SAR if im nt wrong. and ur IPPT/Shooting muz pass.

      yup i did pass my shooting and ippt.i know no direct cpl.the thing i’m scared is that even now i’m not reflected as a dip holder at pnsd.is there anyway to check or sth? and yes my dip is from a local poly.

      i failed my eng but it was said that 1 year later there will be a promotion.if i passed my eng i would have gotten my sgt now.the thing is not even a cpl now after 1 year.

      have u enquired with ur supervisors?

      mayb they din give u the required grade for promotion?
