    • A Chinese man fell into a 15-storey high rubbish collection container at an incinerator plant in Tuas.

Fortunately the container was about 80 per cent filled with rubbish when the incident happened today close to 4 pm.

The incinerator plant is located along Tuas South Avenue 3.

The man was lifted out using a crane belonging to the company.

According to the SCDF, the man sustained a fracture to his left leg and was sent to the National University Hospital. - 938Live

Man falls 15 metres into incinerator collection point

SINGAPORE: A waste collector miraculously escaped serious injury after falling into a rubbish collection area piled with refuse several stories high.

The man, in his mid—40’s, was emptying rubbish at the Tuas South Incineration Plant when he fell 15 metres into the collection point on Thursday.

Fortunately, his fall was cushioned by the rubbish pile.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance arrived just before 4pm and its crew had to be lowered into the area using the incinerator’s auxiliary hoist.

The man was conscious when rescued. He was sent to the National University Hospital where he was treated for a fractured left leg. — CNA/ir

Incinerator on, he wouldn't have fallen in. He fell in while emptying rubbish.

      o.O tamago misled me.

I still think there must be some mistakes in the information though. 20% of 15 storeys is only 3 storeys. 15m = 3 storeys. Then 1 storey = 5m...so high sia.
