Hey anyone worked in Bars/Pub before? No i'm not refering to those sleazy kind that houses aunties and uncles, I'm refering to those that houses a younger crowd and live band like perhaps Timbre.
How's the pay like there? My fren who works in a club told me his is around $7.50 per hour only.
Hmmm.
Anyone worked there before care to share their experience? Much appreciated.

you can ask for a higher paid then negotiate downwards, bargaining tactics, ask for $11, then they offer $7, then you said your problem, like living very far, cost of transport and also today outside prices increase so much, then go down to $9/hr, tell them this is already a sacrification liao, then they will said ok lah, $8/hr. then you ask for $8.50, a month confirm, if they find you no good, can go down later, give your every best smile. I think they will accept it, you make sure you give your very best shot on it ya, on the way you learn too, later you can become the captain or even set up your own pub.

But that time i went interview ( F & B industry not pubs) it's kinda like a flat rate thingy, no bargain. Coz manager interview ma not owner they cannot anyhow set price also.
