    • i just started work on 02/06/08, and i have tended my resignation letter on 13 June, work till end of 20 June. But the job agency ask me to pay compensation of 50% of my salary to them. Do i really need to pay so much to them? Or they are trying to cheat me? My salary is $1300, i have work 3 weeks so i'm getting about $900+. They still want my 50% of my whole month salary which is $650. Are they legal to do this?Anybody can help?

    • before u apply for the job, the agency will ask u to sign some sort of form and the person will explain to u all the do's and don'ts. i believe the form u signed stated that if u leave the job in less than 3 mths, u must pay back the agency a certain amt of ur pay. look carefully at the copy of form u signed. all black and white.

      OR

u can go back the agency and find the person who let u sign the form.

    • Well, it depends, some of the agency did not state the terms in the contract, but i believe they will tell u verbally,

regardless of what, let this be a lesson learnt, READ the terms of the contract carefully before signing...
