Can someone recommend some online/standalone games to me?
The requirement are:
1. The game must be long term one. (usually rpg or rts game.)
2. Must be downloadable thro the net. (But not download burn iso cue files so troublesome)
3. Dont need cd ("computer cd shops" are hard to find these days other than jb)
Pls recommend some games other than gunbound or maple story. Thanks.

World of Warcraft....once you start playing, say goodbye to your friends, girlfriend/wife and stock up on instant noodles. Must pay $15 a month but worth every cent of it.

How do you play it on a LAN? Do you mean a LAN connected to the Internet?
Yes I do admit there is a little learning curve, but it's already a lot simpler than most RPGs (there is little penalty for dying). And once you get the hang of it, it's by far the most entertaining game I've come across.
I'm not sure if it's $20 in Singapore, I'm in Australia and it costs AUD$15 so I guess SGD$20 is right.
Come and look me up (if you're Horde, that is...if you're Alliance our meeting will be short and sweet, and will end up with someone running back from the graveyard). I'm a level 55 troll priest on Stormreaver. I also have a 31 human mage and 30 night elf warrior on Warsong.
I can't wait for patch 1.7! They're finally fixing Vampiric Embrace for shadow priests. 7 more hours to servers coming back up.
