    • the apex of the apex – home affairs minister must also resign. Whitley Road detention is supposed to be the most secure and ISD is supposed to be most kilat organisation – yet it still faltered. Based on the theory that the apex of the supervision hirerachy must be responsible, I now say that even the minister – who is the highest authority who chart the policy must also be responsible because its a big cockup on a massive scale.

A international notorious terrorist has escaped and till now, no clues of his whereabouts is known.

    • "Although the command director was neither directly nor indirectly linked to the lapses of specific officers down the line, and he was not at fault over the lapses, Mr Wong said he was formally the apex of the supervisory and management chain of command overseeing the detention centre."

      what about himself?

    • Is this accountability and taking liabilities?

Mr wong should relax immigration at Woodlands checkpt for three days, making it free of charge for all vehicles thru and fro Malaysia to compensate all drivers for the delays and confusions in those horrible days.

    • WKS statement is so ironical. Should he be sacked too?

It makes no sense to sack the superintendent while he escaped any punishment at all.

      Cronyism at its best.

    • 22 April - "Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has said that public officers, including Ministers, should not be automatically removed or punished just because a lapse has occurred down the line."

26 May - "Although the command director was neither directly nor indirectly linked to the lapses of specific officers down the line, and he was not at fault over the lapses, Mr Wong said he was formally the apex of the supervisory and management chain of command overseeing the detention centre."

      wow.
