      According to Inner Pets Circle, Hardwarezone, this man, David Hooi, is a cat killer, who sometimes can go to Geylang to procure a cat for torture.

      How much of negative karma can such actions reap? Anyone with examples?

      Besides that, is there a way to persuade this type people to stop the senseless torturing of animals?

      Mischief to animals is a seizable offence...

      If anyone see him committing this offence pls contact the police immidiately

      Think he is suffering from some mental illness in the papers reported, who claimed he likes cat and yet torture and kill the poor cats, maybe he is a sadist who takes pleasure both liking and torturing cats like some pyschopaths.

      the solution will be to send him to IMH for a period of time. if doc certify he can be discharged, then he can go home, otherwise doc can extend his stay there.

      another solution is to hire PIs to tail him, but who is going to foot the bill? CDC's or RC's?

      This guy is so terrible.
      His act reminds me of the a video that I saw last time on the way people slaughter cow and pig. disgusting.

      Since his block is known already, I think should setup a trap and put some cats there to lure this guy out.

      maybe his past life was a rat and he is taking revenge in this present lifetongue.png he will pay back in his next life cycle (cycle of reincarnation - cause and effect)

      but looking on another angle, he is cutting short of the life cycle(cats) for them to reincarnate to the next cyclesmile.png

      i am not approving his acts but just looking at different perspectives and hope he will be forgiven for his acts and seek salvation

      Cutting short life cycle doesn't mean the cat will be reborn in higher realms faster.

      Animals may have to stay in the realm of animals for a very very long time, which means many many lifetimes, maybe thousands or more, depending on individual karma.

      Karma is not as predictable as one might think. Some people go to heaven the next life, but fall to hell the next next life, as recorded in the sutras.
