Dedications to the killed in Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar replied by sofital @ Fri, 16 May 2008 01:28:12 +0800

The story below is extracted from http://linletkyalsin.blogspot.com/2008/05/blog-...

The prediction by juntas master fortune tellers

Though I don’t believe in fortune telling and Yatayar (ways of
averting
misfortune), I still believe a bit. I believe the reason behind how
the cruel juntas
have been gripping on to their power must be due to Yatayars.
A few days ago, I have received confirmed news from an insider.
After dictator
Than Shwe has known the prediction about his sunset time, he
restricts
on international aid teams coming in. The prediction given for Than
Shwe is
that “if a western soldier in full combat could land on Myanmar
capital,
then that would be the doom day of the juntas”. Being unable to do
Yatayar
for protection against the prediction, international aid teams are
not allowed in.
Juntas fear about westerners being very eager to come for
help.
As of now, the priority should be about helping the cyclone
victims. Politicizing
about the current crisis should be kept minimal. Though cyclone is
not started
by juntas, consequences such as increasing death toll, failure to
prepare
precautionary measures, denial of international aids, failure to
feed the victims
etc are caused by the fear in juntas. And it is very saddening from
humanitarian
perspective.
Right now, western aid teams are poising to get inside Myanmar. We,
overseas
Burmese should try our best to get these aid teams into help the
cyclone victims
as well as to bring about the doom day of juntas according to the
prediction.
This is the must-do task for us. In this era, I understand that
there are people
who believe and who don’t believe. Acts such as juntas wearing
traditional royal
costumes and walking pig on pagoda are not being done as they have
turned
crazy. These are done to ensure their grip on power as instructed
by their master
fortune tellers.
As there are more capable people out there, I would like to request
you all to
make this prediction comes true. Currently, it is the right time as
westerners are
really eager to go inside Myanmar to help. Please help disseminate
the
information. We must uproot these juntas who bring sufferings and
torture our
Myanmar people. It hurts me much to see Myanmar people being
bullied by
USDA members. Myanmar people have been in the
most miserable stage in the
world completely. As to get back to our golden days where everyone
can have
decent life, juntas must completely disappear.
The prediction by juntas’ master fortune tellers:
“If a westerner could set his feet in Myanmar capital in full
military
combat in 2008, juntas’ doom day will come”

I have read todays newpaper and it reported that
one of the custom staff there a woman carefully peel off the visa
of one of the veteran aid worker there and use liquid paper to
cover his stamp so that they can't go in to help . My colleague are
really angry at such reactions and told me that theres no point
helping them since their own junta are doing such things . Although
i disagree but then agn what can we do if their own government
refuse to be helped .

true, we can't do much after the disaster happened.
I just hope that we can do something for the future. Keep our
precepts, live a real buddhist life and dedicate our merits to stop
the future disaster.
Seeing 10,000 people dying is sad and terrible enough, if 1 million
people died in the next giant earthquake cum tsunami, it will be
really sad.

Hi
Theinngu Arahart from myanmar already predicted disasters coming in
the future for myanmar people in his audio file.
1)Disaster for food
2)Disaster for war
3)Disaster for diseases

Myanmar gov hit and tortured the monk in the saffron revolution.
Now the time is coming for to modify the Buddhism of people in
myanmar. One more big earthquake is predicted coming in the
future.

The civilians is always the innocent one. They already suffer
enough under the military junta rule. Now the natural disaster
again add up more burden to them.

Hi
Theinngu Arahart from myanmar already predicted disasters coming in
the future for myanmar people in his audio file.
1)Disaster for food
2)Disaster for war
3)Disaster for diseases

Myanmar gov hit and tortured the monk in the saffron revolution.
Now the time is coming for to modify the Buddhism of people in
myanmar. One more big earthquake is predicted coming in the
future.

i believe every thing has a cycle. the world is round, this
world will have an end. if things come to a point where
everything has to start all over again, it will..

so many things have happened, the world has come to a point that
ppl has overuse resources, and mother nature has shown its anger,
but ppl still never realised and do their part. instead they are
just concern on their own 'face', sigh...

sorry to be pessimistic. just my point of view. live has to go
on..

Really pity those affected by the cyclone.

What buddha said is really true, life is very fragile.
Even if you stay in a brick house, with huge saving for the rest of
your ife, you wouldn't know when death will come.

What I worry most now is there is a saying that south china will
have an earthquake sometime this year followed by a 30 meter high
tsunami that will affect Hong kong, hai nan, most likely japan and
cause MILLION of people to die.

I don't know how true is this but let's dedicate our merits to
them and pray for this disaster not to come.

Saw this donation link on E-Sangha:

Besides that, I read with disgust:

"Burma's ruling military junta has approved the passage of some
aid, but other offers have been spurned while many foreign aid
workers are being held in a queue for visas."
