You know how ppl liddat rise ?

its cos sales can be quantified, while service cant.

its my personal belief that service line should be separated
from sales. Unfortunately, too many people mixed up the two.

Yes, sales would be better with good service...but not
necessary. Its like, you can close a sales by hook or by crook
while smiling, chatting, etc. But usually will end up with
problems.

And service need not have sales to be judged so. After all,
there are pre sale service, in sale service and after sale service
and its simply too wide a range to be covered by one person.

Do what you think is right, because in the end, I think everyone
needs only answer to themselves.

I was pretty pissed off regarding a remark coming from my
boss who's in charge of sales. I'm in service line and I've got 2
bosses. Ohh well.. I asked my service boss which is more important?
Sales or service? Well, she said that Service is important. It's
okie if we've got no sales but we muz ensure that we give our
customer good service. However that bitch who's in charge of sales
colleague that if the customer is not gonna be capable of giving
him any sales closure, then why should he bother wasting his time
servicing her. Anyway I dun like this bitch so maybe tt's y I'm so
pissed off with this remark. Without good service, 1 can forget
about closing the deal. This customer had previously closed a few
cases with my ex-colleagues as they've been able to provide gd
service/follow up to her. How many actually face this kind of
situation? Ohhh fine.. Wait till I am leaving my job then I can
tell the bitch in e face that "hey! that customer has no potential
of closure so no need to pass on to my sales colleague lor.. U guys
r juz too preoccupied with closure to provide service mah. we
service staff can juz do the simple servicing can liao. Don't need
to waste their time lor.. "
