    • This is a thread to test the level of support for an weekend getaway to the southern islands

      Where: St John's Islands

      What: Weekend Chalet

When: Sometime in June or July ?

Rustic St John's island, an island retreat even more uncrowded and quiet than pulau ubin .. surrounded by corals and seaweed beds, the island itself has a marine research station, and chalets and holiday bunglows on the other half ....

We can BBQ, fish, play catching ( vicon_mrgreen.gif ), go snorkelling etc etc .....

bring mess tin, solid fuel, water, fork/spoon and 2 packs of instant noodles, 1 museli bar, 1 chocolate bar, 1 packet of milo/tea, some sweets...can last u overnite...

they got stalls near the jetty... so the abovementioned ration good enough for the nite.
