Yeah... premixed and in a bottle. 17% alcohol only, but because I usually dilute my Choya and Korean Pomegranate Wine, and I really mean dilute, this time round, the alcohol got to me quick!

Went to Dan Ryan's or something this evening. It's darn huge! Imagine Cold Storage in Holland V, but there are no groceries around, just alcohol everywhere!! That's how bloody huge this alcohol shop is!

I found my Cachacas, however, at AUD40-50 a bottle, I'm not sure I wanna buy it. I don't think I can tahan it because it has 40% alchohol!

I bought a few other bottles of pre-mixed drinks with much lower alcohol content. There's a XuXu 50% strawberry drink that I wanted to buy but the expiry date is in June 08, so no-go.

Discovered a newly-opened authentic Japanese restaurant along Bridge Road! Spanking new and the menu looks awesome! I bought takeaway but I think I shall return again soon with friends to dine-in!

Returned home, drank one glass of Pina Colada with just 17% alcohol, but whoooosh!!! I think I'm a bit tipsy now! I can feel the hot flush in my cheeks, and my head isn't spinning yet but I'm getting there! I feel funny when I walk around and almost walked smack into the bedroom door, so I think my alcohol tolerance is extremely low, and darnit, I got myself tipsy!

Sigh... think I'd better forget about Cachacas!

Thanks for the photo! I saw how it looked like in "No Reservations".

I went to one of the local alcohol shops and asked for Cachacas but they didn't stock it. They did know of a larger shop down the road that sold it though! I'm heading to town tomorrow, may try my luck there first!

I can't decide if I like it better than Gin & Tonic; need I say more?

Anyway, most bars and pubs here substitute rum for the cachaca since they don't have that readily available.
