      First, note that this is the brain-storm for ideas thread, not the actual notice .....

      but it's past the halfway mark for 2008 already ... and, knowing how slowly things move in here ... (icon_redface.gif) .... it'll be wise to start waaayyyyyy early ... icon_lol.gif

      I like short getaway trips but everytime we talk about it, it somehow never materialises one!  tongue.png  Too many people, hard to organise.

      but ...

      1. the St John's Chalet thing died in the womb leh .....

      2. the short trip thingy ... to phuket, also died in the womb leh ....

      unless we can get something concrete, it's gonna be difficult ...

      if its a short trip that requires purchase of air tickets then have to decide ASAP.

      Say, how about we each come up with a sum of $$ to charter a yacht and have catered meals too?

      Or, how about going on a short cruise?!  teeth.png

      i think the price for a short cruise, might as well top up a bit more and fly to a location.

      me and my frens did charter a yatch before quite a long time ago, my fren did the booking, 20 of us and the cost is $120 per pax..... not so great food but i guess food can be arranged...so with probably close to $180-$200 per pax, you could have a yatch ride for an overnight

      year end yatch ride with monsoon winds n wet weather. sure confirm alot of peeps will turn into merlions.

      or someone in the east can volunteer ... otherwise people like ferret's going to make more taxi unkers very very happy ... icon_lol.gif

      but I really like the St John's chalet idea ...

      the only problem is that arrival and departures would be constrained ...

      and there'll be a big logistics problem ....
