SkeujinWe had dim sum. There was a scary peek of a fried frog. There were many plates of rectum. The porridge becum water. Nice chee chong fan. Nice fried prawn thingie.
Ppl turn up with their own durians.
We went for mee sua and tau huey. Mee sua lost. Tau huey won. I would like to take this opportunity to mention again that the mee sua sucks.
We then went for durians. I am habbing teh sore throat. There were melons. 2 victors and 1.... useless.
I enjoyed myself very the muchie

omg ....since when was the last time i had so much durians. those durian had kept me awake all night.
special thanks to tamago who had brought the durians all the way from Ubin. somehow they taste better than those purchase one.
as for the dim sum, i think they are over-rated. the paper-bag chicken were over-cooked and dry, the xiao long bao skin were thick and dry making it taste like siew mai and i agree that it's abit tat salty, the kong bak pao is small and dry, otherwise the rest were OK.
sorry for the whinning, i can't sleep now
next we had tau huay and mee sua. was it me only or same with the rest. my expectation of the mee sua was higher than it turned out to be. with so many unfinished bowls, I need not go further. you tiao king? they should at least serve hot piping you tiao.
enough of the whinning. the company was good as usual. see some new faces and many old faces and that makes me feel young again.
thanks to the organiser ferret. for a while we thought you weren't coming because eveyone said you weren't picking up the "wake up calls" after reading your nap reported on-line but you were early......7pm sharp
