Remember I was raving about this special north western thai beef noodles, semi dry, and supper shiok ? ....
I found it at golden mile ! .....
on the ground floor, beside thai joint called "Thai Disco 2" .... it's not a resturant, just a food stall in the shopping mall amongst the spices shops ....
the portions are small, even tiny, so order two at once (that's just for starters) they have the "dry" and the "soup" version, both are shiok ... the "soup" version is actually semi dry, but the soup is so dark and thick and savory, it's almost like a stew .....
dump in basil, bean sprouts, sugar, chili flakes, crushed peanuts, and get a packet of those dried deep fried pork skin called "crab moo" .... stir everything up .... and viola ! ..... aroi mak mak ! .... kway teow nuea ti Singapore, dee thi soot ! ....
our group spent over 50 dollars there, so you can imagine how much we ate .... but it was goooooooooooooooooooood
next up, there's a stall selling the stewed pork trotter on rice just next door .... which, I guess, would be next week's target ...
muahahahahahahaha .....

get a multiplier ..... I like the calcutta but they are so pricey, it's almost impossible to birdnest on that .... I love my abu gracia also .... I have a spiffy little abu 5600D6 that's the perfect bait-casting reel ....spooled with spider wire crystal, that's my regular shore casting reel ....
people were telling me about a few abandoned fish pond there also, with lots of big-headed crap .... a mate caught a 15 kilo one three weeks ago

that's what they were saying, about getting arrested for trespassing, that's why i haven't joined them so far, despite the pics .....
there's supposed to be an estuary there also, with good seabass action at the right times .....
you can get your reels serviced at some beach road tackle shops now if you don't want to DIY, won't cost you more than 30 bucks or so ....

i think ill go see some tackle when im up north. dunno whats the action there like.
Singapore's tackle is pretty cheap, probably the cheapest in the region at least ... I've been sending lures and tackle to mates in Canada, that's how cheap we are ....
I think I'm going to see if I can go eat more beef noodles again tomorrow ...... the craving is so strong, though my asshole's going to pay for it from all the chili .... >.<
