My point is that homosexuality is un-natural even from a scientific point of view. If it wasn't then male-male or female-female relations should bear 'fruit', should it not? Like I said, homosexuality is a product of society not nature. Look at animals without "social skills", you do see male dogs humping on male dogs, do you? Their function to reproduce wouldn't work very well, would it?

Dogs only know one word, and that is "Woof!" We can't tell if they are saying yes or no to our requests. From a practical (scientific) point of view, Homosexuality is no good either. Such a union does not contribute to the population. You're more likely to see a bigger gap in your age groups.
Social evloution, a little, yes. It also shows the results from the darker side of our society leaving behind moral ethics and values. Homosexuality is a result of social environments in many cases (i'd like to believe all of them but I know many would disagree). It could be just me but the people who I have met or actually known who are or have been or thought about being gays and or lesbians became so only after a traumatic event (plus gradual events leading up to), not so great home life (single parent, unhappy and fighting parents), stress or were rebelling against the 'strict social order'. I know some scientists have tried to prove that it's in the DNA but from my personal experience, I don't buy it one bit.
Now that everyone knows where I stand, I just like to add that no I don't believe in condeming anyone for whatever choices they make. Especially, in the name of God. He's the judge and well, none of us are part of the jury. It does say in the bible to love the sinner and hate the sin. For those who dislike gays and lesbians, show a little love. If I am right (which I think I am here *read above), love is just something that missing here.

I do agree..basically gaysim bascially are harmless. What harms are the people itself. Be it straight/bi/gay..some are really irritating to the core. My gf was persuited by this guy and despite thousands of rejections from her..he still persist on until we have to call the police. Scientifically, it's proven that babies born under incest r/s have a high chance of being abnormal at birth. Why involve a young innocent life for peer pleasure? Homosexuality is different. I don't think you'll be able to get pregnant when both are of equal sex. Only way to get a child is either for the gays to adopt a child or for the lesbians to go for artificial insertion of seman. Like it is with porn, commercial sex and co-habitation; homosexuality is an issue for the society we live in. It seems the majority of Singaporeans are against it, mainly for cultural and religious reasons.
The laws of the land must reflect the sentiments of the majority. -

I totally agree... who cares what people do in their own private bedroom as long as they don't affect others people life. OK, there are exceptional cases where people can get away with it, but the cases are so small that they don't contribute to the entire population growth. I think China has a population growth problem because there are simply too many people there! -

Put it this way...if god is the one who created one and condemns homosexuality..then in the first place there shouldn't be two genders and simply just have one cause then there won't be such problems. Anyway I don't see it as a problem.
It's just about minority vs majority. Put it this way..if in the first place, it's was a "rule" that male should only date and marry male and same for female..then the so call str8 now are the one being condemn, what will be everyone's reaction? I guess it'll be much about the same.
Anyway, we are just human, who are we to judge other people when we are of equal species? Gay or Straight, we are all humans.
