First of all (I'm not speaking for anyone but myself) I'm not a highly educated person when it comes to acedamic. Just a mear "O" Level. Secondly..I'm not defending for a space neither am I fighting for a space. I'm just another human like everyone else on earth why should I need to fight for a space?

Please explain to me what is the basic issue of asian family values? To me...no matter what kind of family I'm in...Love is what I respect and follow. I love my parents and I love my siblings and I take good care of them. So what's the issue here? Before you try to convince me about the family value issue..please do ask yourself what's your family issue and looked back and ask yourself how much have you done for the family.

I'm proud of you..you actually am so honest about your personal life to your employers and HR. What has my personal life gotta do with my work? And besides...my ex-boss knew I'm gay..everyone in the office knew. One thing..I never ANNOUNCED that i'm gay..they just happen to know and I never deny. So? In fact my boss is quite impressed with my work and being gay doesn't make me worse or help me much in my work. -

As well, your lack of knowledge is also stunning. Homosexuality was widespread in ancient Greek and Roman societies. So yes Gays were not only, in your own words, "acceptable by society since long long ago", they were also considered as normal as being straight was. My suggestion to u is that if u want to argue your feeble arguments with historical references, maybe u better know what u are talking about 1st.
This brings us to the fact is that there is no wrong or right with regards to sexuality. In ancient Greek and Roma civilizations, there was no distinction between being "straight" or "homosexual". there will always be both straight and homosexual people, and the only reason that homosexuals are in the minority now is largely due to social conditioning. Many people who have had homosexual thoughts simply suppress them because they fear society will reject them. A fear which bigots like you happily spread, just because u are too narrow minded to see that something that is mainstream is not necessary right.

Honestly when u walk the streets, u see more straights than not....i glad of that... i sure there are other areas where it will be otherwise... i would really like to know these places so that I can avoid them ?
i know it impossible to have complete absence, .... just like some are more imperfect than others.
it will surely help to educate us more... especially the HDB estates when the heartland is ? -
It seems to me tat there r more les for sec sch stu whereas more gay for adults...as for other countries, stil more gay, i wonder y...r they all disappointed by gals or kinda of losers

Imperfect? Which part is imperfect? I did extremely in school, holding a job that paid pretty well. Have a loving partner. How could you describe that as imperfect? -

I've know of gays who are lawyers and other professions. It has nothing to do with them being gay but rather their determination to do well in their life being a human.

Had this talk with a straight friend, he said that his wifey's friend who's a lesbian, told her that the lesbian community is a shrinking one. Claiming that lesbians might find a man when she realise that her biological clock is ticking and she will not be able to re-produce if she missed that chance. I'm not very sure whether is that a fair statement?
For the gay community, at least among the people I know, it's quite the reverse. Some gays get married, then realise that the marriage doesn't work, then divorce and re-seek their own identity again..
Any thoughts? -
i don't quite agree with the lesbian-reproducing part. technology's advanced now, surely they can op for artificial transplant.

I'm a strong believer of fate but of course right now at this moment I couldn't find feelings from the opposite sex. It's not that I don't like the opposite sex but rather at most time I found feelings from the same gender. But who knows? Maybe few years down the road, I met one particular one that can sweep me off the floor and make me feel that he's the one.
I'm neither looking desparately for a guy and get married or delibrately avoiding them just cause I'm gay. I just let things go naturely. What will come will come. I can run but I can't hide from fate. -
