Passengers can now look forward to "cashing"in on their free SMSes and save on "talk-time" when booking a ComfortDelgro taxi with the new SMS taxi booking mode .
With the latest technology , simply key-in "BOOK", along with the postal code of their pick-up address to 71222 to book a taxi .
Currently on trial , SMS taxi booking is expected to be available to all commuters by the first half year of this year .
So far , trial users has been happy with the result .

Alvin , Premier calls in town within 5 minute ? U wait long long ar .....Premier will only have calls if customers cannot get Comfort .

Oh yea..and then when the whole thing goes public - there'll be a special version for tourists.
Instead of BOOK,tourists have to text TOURIST<space>HOTEL or current location.
And instead of normal taxis like Crowns to pick them up,premium "special" Mercedes will be used.
Special as in overcharging a flat charge(meters will not be installed lol) of $50 to the tourists for anywhere and $200 to airport/Sentosa
If this method is used,the touts now have a luxurious business liao

good lah... hope it means for booking.... nowadays i sense bookings drop liao ... must be cos train service better now....
I have yet to try prime taxi... wanted to try but no chance.... took citycab sonata and silver crown recently.... both drivers sounds more friendly than previous cabbies with comfort.... their faces like i owe them $500 never pay up... some cabbies really spoil image lah... no need to chit chat but at least smile once mah correct... some more i purposely flag for a comfort cab to give fellow colleagues business...
