O so you wanted to go there to settle you Telecom Bill, so maybe it is Killiney Road, Orchard Road. So just sent him there goodness after that i don't know it is right or wrong from there on. Kenna this lagi best, from Balestier to Blk 620 Hougang so where is actually this Block, you Taxi you don’t know, ha.
So Madam you think we Taxi driver must know every Block in this estate, You must tell us which Avenue than we will send to the that Avenue understand. So where the hell is actually this 620 Block… I don’t know, I am not staying there my friend stay, so could you kindly please call your friend where is this block. Is in btw Avenue 4 and Avenue 8 where this block sit, ha than we go.

Blk 606 Bedok Reservoir Road opposite Macdonald, Ok from Geylang Bahru so go by PIE,exit Eunos link. O on the left Block started with Blk670 onward so on the left started with Blk100, go little further wow all hundred on the right. O no what wrong go little further Hey Blk 600 again there you are BLk606 opposite Macdonald sighted. O still not happy about go back again and take a loook o Jalan Tenaga that is all about Bedok Reservoir road blocks system very confuse.

U will face many customers from inside CBD , go into cbd , via outside cbd .

Know what i mean ?

eg ..... Clarke Quay taxi stand , pax wanna go to Plaza singapura .

6pm , ERP $2 .

knn walk also can reach , but by taxi , pax need to pay $2 more on erp .

Alternative ?

U-turn go by River Valley > Hill Street > Coleman St > Armenia St > Stamford Road > Penang Road ( another ERP $0.50 )> Clemenceau Ave > Buyong Road > Orchard Road > Plaza Sing .

What will u do ?

Like AMK , one pax wanna go Furama City centre @ Havelock .

U go by CTE > exit Havelock Road , then turn into Furama Hotel , right ? Very near , just after the court ?

Wrong !!

That way cannot excess into Hotel lobby .

Alight customer by the road ? Kena summon from LTA , alight pax at People Park centre t/s ? Too far !!

correct route : CTE > Havelock Road > New bridge Road > U-turn into Eu Tong Sen > Havelock Sq > Furama Hotel lobby .

This is another one way traffic example .

Do make an effort to learn those ChinaTown area , those small roads , like Mosque St , Pagoda St , Pagoda lane , Temple St etc ....

Not difficult to see those roads , it's the one way that confuse all drivers , even to the most season drivers !

Like Keong Siak St , must go in by New bridge road .

Temple st must go in by New bridge road .

Mosque St must go in by South Bridge road . Come out into New bridge .

Just imagine this ....

Pax at Jurong want to go to Mosque St .

So u travel by AYE > Merchant road > right turn into New Bridge Road .

Then u go straight ! Alamak ! outside Mei Zhen Xiang cannot go into Mosque St !!!!

Then what ? One option , safest option , U infront u-turn , and right turn into Pickering , and right turn into South bridge Road , then go into Mosque St , meter jump , pax sure fuck u upside down !

Another option , risky one , customer alight outside Mei Zhen Xiang , then kena summon from LTA for not alighting pax at regulated taxi stand ! Main road cannot alight .

But inside Mosque St can alight .

All because u neglect the importance of one-way traffic .

Looked easy , when u made this mistake , cos of taxi fare , sure kena for nothing .

Inside CBD , one ur mistake can caused customer to pay more , when they pay more and complaint against u , u eventually will kena .

Anyway regarding your Choa Chu Kang and Yew Tee is separated by KJE, I know a few other neighbour towns that are separated by roads

Bishan and Toa Payoh: Braddell Rd
Punggol and Sengkang: TPE
Tampines and Pasir Ris: TPE
Tampines and Simei: PIE
Toa Payoh and St. Michael's estate: PIE
Bishan and Ang Mo Kio: AMK Avenue 1

Jurong East and Jurong West .... separated by a canal .

Jurong East Ave 1 & Jurong West Ave 1 - same road . Once u pass the canal , it's a different road name .

CCK and Yew Tee separated by a KJE .

Maybe newbies will kena a bit of Jurong West Xtension .

When customer said Jurong West , they mean the original Jurong West , as in St 42 , St 41 , St 51 , St 52 Ave 1 etc ...

But when the say NTU , meaning not the Uni itself , they're saying St 71 to St 93 area .

But when they said Jurong Point , they sometime dun really mean the shopping centres itself , they are saying those areas like St 61 , 62 , 63 , 64 , 65 side .

Take note la ...

Ave 1 is the link between Jurong East and Bt Batok , so nothing much i can say ....

I think they used Ave 1 as in the first road to access to Bt Batok from Jurong .
