your hirer's sonata got install the water proofing for the cabin floor or not? mine sonata got, $120 worth every cent. boot oso add water proof mat $30, oso worth every cent. very easy to clean. otherwise if kena vomit on the carpet how to clean?

alvin, be careful picking up pax on east/west coast park, especially if dey looked as if they just had a nice time on the beach.

knn, kena both east & west coast park, dun noe why but coincidentally both abnn families. nothing wrong at first glance, clean taxi time den noe the bau. back seat a lot of very fine sand grains trapped between the sew lines of the seat cover. 30 minutes of vacuuming. obviously they din bother brushing the sand off their bodies, shoes watever b4 boarding the taxi.

peak period ok lah, easy to get pax. morning time like 11am everywhere oso few pax, i dun mind longer distance cos time difference is small when running on highway. ex.ecp/pie/tpe vs ecp/kpe distance quite alot of diff, but travelling time not much diff.

1. today kena 70+ old man let go bowels in my cab. torturous 20mins to destination even wif windows down. din have the heart to scold him or ask him to pay extra for cleaning up the mess. took 1 hour to clean n deodorize the interior, used up my entire can of deodorizer spray in 1 go. there goes my peak hour. eat grass...sigh.

2. some time back, abnn family of 4, mother wif 3 teenage sons. as they were alighting, saw that the floor mats were covered with MUD. no sorry, no offer of payment for cleaning up. i asked them..would you do the same thing if this was your own car? knn, they just laughed in my face n walked off. fare $6, spent $4 car wash, another 1/2 hour cleaning the interior. loss of earning claim from who? eat myself.

really hope pax could be more considerate lor.

Just wait and see what widening the road on CTE highway, it will be the same whether is 3 lanes or 5 lanes. Now the Bungkok residents slowly coming up, you know how many cars will be running on this CTE, the next what will be the solution. Few more ganties will be coming soon. One pax told indication, one more coming up near the Hougang Ave 7 at the Punngol end junction near the Church this one is for the Punggol and Sengkang residents. Still thinking it is posssible.

kin, actually i also have same thinking… to have very high ERP on CTE, PIE and no ERP on other roads. charge an amount that can still allow cars in peak hours to go at 90km/h like off peak…. be it $5 or $10 if nec…..

like that if you want to avoid jam, pay a lot… else join the jam on free roads…

less confusing and more efficient… not the current pay also jam system…or numerous roads with ERP

but just our wishful thoughts…

cannot compare lah. sure evening peak worse. evening time practically every highway jam both directions, whereas morning peak mostly jam in one direction only (except PIE)

come sep 20, expect income to be affected, esp during non-peak cos KPE OPENS TO TRAFFIC. kena north-east pax most likely wanto use it.

yo moderator, can give us some info on KPE's exit/entry points in both directions?

morning peak i thought CTE sure either heavy or jam till PIE? last time in previous job, every morning i always go CTE… sure jam even with ERP… but luckily i can exit AMK ave 1 to go toa payoh

CTE is very jia lat… sunday also very heavy….i think they should just make it 5 lanes along city to SLE stretch….badly need the KPE to reduce its volume…

isn't life a bitch? mention highway jam and you kena go nearest mrt station instead, dun mention kena f, cos many pax knows we'll receive info on highway traffic conditions. really "heads i win, tails you lose".

me, if during peak hour 100% inform, cos totally no benefit to both cabby n pax. you can get better returns on shorter trips during peak hours. get stuck in jam, 20 cents every 45 sec. not worth the time wasted AND pax upset, show u black face, f you, etc.

alvin is rite, almost all the highways oso this condition, once past the bottlenecks, smooth traffic. personally i find that doing detours reaps no benefits at all cos everybody and his brother oso doing the same thing.

eh alvin, bendemeer erp oready there for many moons lah.

personal best...$60+ airport > holland v > shangrila hotel > 6 battery rd. Evening peak hours summore. additional $20 tips. omo time lah. obviously angmoh pax.

CTE-exit upper serangoon? usually if endure CTE till PIE, might as well go further south cos no jam liao… that’s why if go past PIE, i will prefer exit orchard.

if want to exit CTE early to reduce jam, should exit bradell then uppper serangoon

$39? ask you what is your record fare so far? me got once after midnight… on call clark quay to woodlands… lady drunk… her friend very smart… ask her ang moh male friend to come along… then woodland go back to tiong bahru.. ang moh pay her $50… he pissed off liao… total fare $50+... very shiok for me…

Haha Job offer fro Yishun Street st71 extra $3.50 booking. This two IT paxs on board, Sir where too...Odean Tower near City Hall. Ok... so which route you prefer. CTE exit Balestier. Here we go Sembawang, Lentor, SLE, CTE. still ok when enter CTE but toward AMK exit down the road heavy JAMS.

Trouble trouble moving like slowlt inches by inches. the trafic flow, after the two CTE ERP gantries, no escape from here fast. So we exit Upper Serangoon than Kallang Bahru, Lavender North Bridge road, two more ERP addon. Total fares $39.40. Very unhappy after paying..

Normally this whole trip only 20 minutes from my place, this time you take 40 minutes..unlucky unlucky. Sir, next time you should drop down to the nearest MRT station. Than endup not paying so much, GOODAY.

If i am Alvin , i would travel by St71 > Sembawang Road > Yishun Ave 1 > Lentor Road > SLE > CTE exit Balestier ( Kallang ) > North bridge road > Odeon Tower .

Minimum $28 including ERP ( at least $6 ) . Peak Hour .
