  eh... actually when we buy an item such as psp.. we do not own it.
  
  We actually only own the right to use it. Hence its is illegal to modify or do anything to it. As it is still intellectual property of Sony.
  
  Crappy law. But well.. last time papers also came up before about this topic liao. illegal to mod PSP, Xbox, PS2 etc.

  I think thats a rubblish law, then, does it mean that the people at sony also do not actually own our money that we paid them? and only have the right to use it.
  I think thats crap. this guy is providing the general public with a service. Why can't i down grade because i shuang and as long as i dun play pirated, or catch me doing that, it should be perfectly ok, if thats the case everything that i sell on the market also cannot modify?
  things like i buy a door also cannot install hangers, then i must BUY THESE 10000 dollar hangers from them to be allowed to install??!?!?!?

  By dening our right to modify and hold us ransom to UNReasonABLE PRICES, isnt that a bigger crime? I agree that they take money to make the software, but i think they in general have OVERPRICED their stuff many many times, denying access to many of us gamers. seriously, do you think a crap game is worth nearly a hundred? i think they should look at their sales tactics, before crying foul and pushing everything to piracy. i believe if they put up reasonable prices, the public will support them. and the gaming industry
