Hi, NUS have laptop promotion for NUS students (only in august).
the price is 500 dollars to 1000 dollars cheaper than outside IT shop.
The brands are thinkpad, acer, fujitsu, and toshiba (for thinkpad, there is a lucky spin to get up 1000 dollars cash) and mac.

hmm I do know a few people who helped their friends to buy discounted laptops. But to advertise on SGforums for profit is way overboard.
Helping friends is still reasonable in my perspective.
But trying to profit from the discounts is unacceptable. -
