French kissing is putting your lips together and putting your tongue in the other persons mouth.
Kissing was one way to test if you are both "chemically" compatible. You saliva will be tasteless or a little sweet like water is sweet when you are thirsty. So is scent (but that's a different topic). It also serves to check if the other person is physically healthy.
No strong flavored foods before kissing or smoking. Unless you both did the same.
Kissing is like tasting the other person's lips, as you both kiss, your salivory glads will activate if you are compatible. Otherwise your mouths stay dry. If dry, stop kissing, shake her hand and thank her and move on with your life.
If wet then naturally as you kiss your tongue will move outwards to taste more. Don't stick your tongue in her mouth, if she likes what she tastes, she will suck you tongue into her mouth naturally. Then you may run your tongue on the inside of her lips to taste better. A good rule is if you are initiating the kiss, you don't stick your tongue in first and don't suck her tongue in first.
If she wears lots of make up, do not stroke her face. She spent hours putting it on and will not appreciate it. Be careful of tugging on her dangling earrings. Long hair can catch and you end up pulling her hair and making her think you are clumsy.
Safe places if all the above exists is stroke her ears and the back of her neck. You can also frame her face with your hands, this hold her hair off her face and keeps it from getting in both your mouths.
No need to hold your breath. If you have bad breath go see a dentist, it's usually because you have a cavity.
Kissing can end up making you thirsty so have water nearby if you plan on kissing for 10mins or so.
Most important, if you are excited and want to try more but she pushes you away, respect her wishes. Never pressure a lady, you can take the initiative but be prepared to stop whenever she is uncomfortable and asks you to stop. Or else she'll feel threatened by you and whatever relationship you had will end on the spot.
