  Hi there
  
  Just came back fm BM showroom at Leng Kee and booked a 1.5e vios (finally) for abt SGD63k. However, delivery is only after CNY (at best - it could be later). Initially had wanted the 1.5s but was told by many that digital meter is not quite reliable. (true?)
  
  Anyhow, SE did not give any freebies 'cept a $200 voucher.
  
  Wonder if there is a Vios owner club out there since there is a Altis club.

  delivery date latest late jan...

  BM has up the price by $500.00 for both Altis n Vios citing reason of expected high demand in the forthcoming festive season.
  
  we bought 2 units n were still being turned down on offers.

  BM sux!! mitsu has upped prices also. but think BM wun give much freebies. at least mitsu is giving alot. hmmm tot vios cost 58K nia? for the manual?

  Well the only freebies my SE gave from his own pocket is fog lamps and shorter antenna...
  other stuffs are included in the package i got already ?

  mine is the so call standard package for 2005 model with some cosmetic touch up such as door mirror trim etc.
  
  tried to push for free fog lamp but was turned down - SE says Spore dun need fog lamp and she quoted SGD280++ for it if I wanna install.

  Fog lamp will make your VIOS looks much better and it costs about $150 including installation outside. As long as you get something from the SE, it is considered good enuf as Toyota seldom give big freebies unless you know the SE well eg. you have bought a Toyota before.
  
  The 'after CNY' delivery may be too long. If you can secure a COE fast, the chance of getting a VIOS before CNY should be quite high.

  always remember. confirm the free items
  before you sign the papers.
  after you sign means deal closed.

  yours was before 01.12.04 whereas mine is after.
  price differential is sgd500.00
  in fact the SE told me the longer I delay the later the car collection date, even if the booking if 1 day different, it could mean a much later collection date.
  anyhow, should I install the fog lamp outside or get BM to do it? BM SE says
  outside will also be around sgd250++ and somemore not as 'safe' as an inhouse job. I was told that no decision now but prior to final payment must decide.
  
  also given the option to change to another car if I decide to change my mind.
  of course it has to be prior to final settlement.

  last i know is 2.2% for 7 yrs and 2.3% for 8/9/10 yrs.
  and first yr is interest free.
  
  try the se at leng kee.
  got nasty service/experience at ubi.
  anyhow, BM's attitude is 'ai lye mai suai', afterall there a aplenty of ppl who want to buy.

  ya and 10 yrs is 2.45 % ... i tink... that is killing ......
  but now refinacing is very popular.... refinance at 1.6% but i do not know whether we can do it for toyota vehicles... shldnt be a problem i guessed...

  dat time i went down to bm lengkee and the se was giving me $500 discount..hehe.. cos he's my dad's old friend.
  but i didn't buy vios in the end..hehe..cos i dun like the meter being in the middle..
