Heat In The Car

  hi pple,
  
  just wondering how to prevent the heat from "collecting" in the car after leaving it parking under the hot sun for hours ?
  
  any tips ?
  
  as in maybe what and where can i buy additional stuff to reflect the light or soemthing like that ?
  
  or rather how i should the car be modify in any ways etc

  Get those sun rejection window films like V-kool, Huper Optik, Rike Kool, Nanolux etc but it cost some $$$.

  This things will not stop the car from heating up when parked under sun for more than 2 hours. However, they will significantly reduce the time needed to cool things down.
  
  Cheaper alternative is to use those shiny blinds/ or boards/ or what even they call it. Most car accessories shop have them. Can also get those that stick to your glass and can roll-up.

  there is a product call e-cool by STAR
  in sim ming autopoint..
  
  ard 300-400 bucks
  a electronic device... when too hot it will activate and cool ur car frm using ur car fan blowing in outside air to cool the inside... keeping ur car a lot cooler

  singapore so hot. probably come back cannot start engine. coz battery flat from all the fan blowing

  Wind down your windows, leaving a small slit, not much but at least a channel for hot air to dissapate.

  If that doesn't work, you can always poke holes in the roof so that the hot air can escape...

  You can wind down all the windows, if not at least the 2 front side windows as you drive off after parking in the hot sun. After 2-3 mins, wind the windows up with air-con on. You'll find it cool faster this way.

  With leather seats, the moment you sit in, you are toasted. With V-kool, I heard just on the air-con for about 5mins before entering the car, and it will be as cool as your air-con. The seats I mean.

  Install fans in your seat, might be even faster... ...like those found in certain mercedes high end model...

  they got batt low cut off... under 11.5V the device will be off totally...
  and the device oni use 1 watt od ur power.
  
  and of more than 1 or 2 days no use... it will perm off too.. till u drive again.
  
  not bad device... but a bit exp for electronic device... cost price damn cheap but its the trademark u paying ....

  Get a piece (or 4 pieces including passengers) of mattress for the back or butt lor...

  when u start ur car, it will have "auto-choke" period rite? tt period cannot drive or rev the engine...so on air-con to full blast and wind down window..at the same time, u stand outside, smoke one stick of ciggie. by e time u finish smking, car shld be cool enuf and engine is warmed up...
