Try out both- Getz & Pica and see which one you prefer.
I myself drive an auto pica, generally it's ok but underpowered. No choice coz i am not comfortable with manual trans.
Not recommend to get sport pica coz aftermkt will surely cost less than 3K

Kelisa is too small for my frame while Getz is high on fuel consumption. I test drove the Picanto and it's actually quite comfy, just that nobody can sit behind me, but that's not a problem.Originally posted by Homebody:Why do you pick Picanto?

If it is possible, don't buy Getz and Picanto. I like the design of both these cars as they are modern and cute(Picanto).
But the thing is, it is a KOREAN car and the Koreans do not have a good track record in making and manufacuring cars. If you doubt my statement check out www.komoco.com.sg. Click on the bulletiin board and just look at the number of negative feed back there. There was one gentleman who bought a manual trand Getz and his clutch pump is faulty on the day he collected.
So much for reliability and 'just see how much has the koreans improved' garbage and propanganda.
If i were you, I would save for a little longer and aim for the Honda Jazz or Mit Colt instead. Though they cost more initially, they will reward you with long term reliability and also the image is better.
The Picanto and Getz are very nice looking cars marred by the fact that they are Korean and the Koreans do not have a good track record in QC. -

Their recent Hotstuff shot? Once I saw a white picanto with grey stripe. Look very cute, and best when I see the driver's a lady. But she drive hard and disappear in seconds.

You know what, I have actually drifted before, though it's involuntary. I was cornering on a rainy day when my car skidded, some how I managed to steer the car and came out of the corner unscathed.
Actually you will learn a lot more from meet-ups. Some technically incline drivers ain't that internet-wise. They seldom visit forum or post message, only when there is a meet-up, somehow they appear. And of course physically seeing is definitely much better than reading it.
