Agreed...i remember my dads 1st car....was a 91 subaru justy J10 with a modest 1 liter engine....and can carry a family of five with luggage space and still move around w/o much coaxing....can even go up till 120km/h...Originally posted by free4ever:Dont worry, even a 0.6L (650cc) car can carry four person and move, so 1.1L is more than sufficient.
The seat is already at its furthest from the steering wheel and the steering wheel is at its highest position but I still get the leg-knocking-steering-wheel problem for Picanto. Getz is ok.Originally posted by A_vErY_pOoR_gUy:u are not sitting far behind enuff i tink. to get to yr idea sitting position (and i felt auto is easier since u dun have to stretch for the gear)
1) shift yr seat behind till yr wrist is touching the top of the steering when elbow is straighten (most impt cos sitting too near to the steering is dangerous in times when the airbag is activated)
2)shift yr seat height to get a gd view of the front.
3)then shift yr steering to a comfortable position
4)after step 1 to 3, u might need to adjust yr seat forward or backward, but i tink will be minimal, something like a click or two.
hope this helps. (remember to shift yr mirrors!!!)![]()
Serious? For my kelisa, I can shift the seat until my feet totally cannot touch the pedals (rear seat totally no leg space). But I am 1.64m. Even so, you should be able to comfortable-ly fit in. But it depends. Cause I have many friends tall or short whose driving position varys independantly of their height. Never tried to push Picanto and Getz seat all the way before though, maybe next time can try.Originally posted by Homebody:The seat is already at its furthest from the steering wheel and the steering wheel is at its highest position but I still get the leg-knocking-steering-wheel problem for Picanto. How come I don't have the leg-knocking-steering-wheel problem when I test drove Picanto? I'm taller than you ...Originally posted by Homebody:I have the same leg-knocking-steering-wheel problem with Nissan March as Picanto, somemore March is out of budget.
many modern cars allow you to adjust the steering wheel up or down to provide leg rooms. if you have tried that it shd allow the longest of legs!Originally posted by Homebody:I have the same leg-knocking-steering-wheel problem with Nissan March as Picanto, somemore March is out of budget.
