focus!
one of the sweetest, if not the sweetest handling front driver around. + its new.. would look fresh even after a few years down the road... cant say that for the civic ...
integra... if ur talking the non Type-R... to me.. it somehow looks... weird.. -
tts wat i tot too... but the civic is gg thru a face lift ya?? the sales person told me the new one would come in earliest in dec.... maybe wait n see how first... 2 minus points on the focus... the antenna n steering wheel cannot be changed...

ya new civic gonna be launched soon.. not a facelift.. and based on what i seen so far... i dunno if i like the shape of it.. lol
tot u were also thinking of now so.. recommended focus
anyhow if u can wait then hang on a bit and see how the new civic turns out i guess

unless it's the integra type r, i wouldn't bother.
altho, i still like the old focus better.

went down to have a look at the focus... the one with the full body kit looks really gd... cept for the long antenna n 4 spoke steering.... not in a hurry la, so maybe take my time look ard abit... any better models ard this range??

Underpinings from the new Volvo S40. Build in Belgium. I test drove the 5 door hatch.The handling is superb.The steering is very precise. You turn left, it turns left like excatly where u wanted it to.
U have a choice of sports or economy mode. Sports mode, the trip computer will rev up to 6500 RPM before upshifting, the suspension gets lowered and steering gets more precise.
You can switch off the ESP for some harcore fun.The car also features steptronic gear changes at the gearstick.
Build quality is top notch for its class.Good plastic feel, and comes with standard leather. Leg room behind the driver's seat whose adjusted to the height of 176 is still acceptable. Spacious boot space.

dudes, what's the diff between the Type-R and the normal Integra. i've google-ed it but...erm, sadly i still don't know much. anyone care to share?

Focus is a good car... good quality. Nice to drive just one thing i dun like... FC.... v bad to me. hahha according to computer it says 10.3 KM/L but its like pump full to the brim with needle exceeding the gauge, 15 mins later the needle hit back the full indicator. Engine damn responsive i must say...

hi all, thanx for all ur comments.. went to have a look at the mazda 3 on sun and was pretty impressed by it.. so its now more of a "focus or mazda3" race.... cant think of any in the same price range n cc.. the integra idea has been axed cos it would not be worth it in the long run... new civic also since its 1.8 i-vtec or 2l... pretty siong on the road tax..

Why not the Renault Megane? It's the best-selling passenger car in Europe right now and has 115bhp (more than Civic & Focus) and low fuel consumption (13km/l) and costs around $73k!

before settling for the car, consider 2 points
1) which is top priority - Price? Fuel consumption? - handling? - power? - space? - style/hip or apek-image? - resaleability? - reliability/repair-prone?
2) go to the owners forum website to hear actual pain and pleasure
eg, for renault, go to www.renaultcarclub.com/forum and check their archive of complaints, problems, etc
there is no perfect car - if there is, the price is also
Enjoy the selecting process, its just like Chinese New Year celebrations, the preparation is more fun than the actual day.... Cheers
