First off, you're a P plate holder. Secondly, there were no eye witness to say who was in the wrong. Thirdly, the Traffic Police will likely doubt your account, that the pick up driver didn't stop.
As a personal opinion, being a P plate holder, you should be more watchful of others, especially those bluddy pickups or lorries delivering gas cylinders; they are always in a rush, and are mostly impatient and reckless. When I see one in front or behind me, I'd give him plenty room to pass by or let him go first. Always anticipate other people's poor judgement, or bad driving habits. NEVER, EVER, ASSUME!
I see alot of P platers driving like they own the roads; speeding, cutting in and out of lanes, turning in or out without signalling, and tailgating.
You probably now have a tough case to fight. -

He said i was speeding because when i applied e-brake, i left behind a stretch of tyre marks on the road surface. If i was driving even at 40km/h, tyre marks will b left behind if i applied the e-brake too rite..? The pai kia driver told me that his boss came down to the scene at took pictures of the tyre marks. He's going to use it as evidence to fight the case with me... Aniwaez, his boss came down after i left the accident scene.... hmm...

ask the fellow go fly kite lah. knn..wanna makan p-plate? if what you had mention is true, then dun worry. just let the insurance company to fight. perhaps you should have called for police as he was threatening u even with pushings. lodge a complaint with TP perhaps.
bottom-line here is..on the road never assume. even those with their signal on doesnt necessary mean that they are turning! -

driver of the other vehicle kena flung out of his van due to the impact (obvously din have his seat belt on). tot he died 4 sure. rushed out to help him in the pouring rain and called the tp. no skid marks, no nothing to prove when i started braking and at which point he started turning out (all thanks to rain and ABS). his passenger started cursing and swearing at me that i was speeding, fail to see him, wanna claim my insurance blah blah blah, but i simply reported the incident as it was and left it to the tps to investigate.
repairs came up to well over 20k. 2 months later, i received notification from tp that the other guy kena 9 or 12 demerit points and fine for inconsiderate driving and my insurance claim went thru.
moral of the story: dun succumb to any of the threats. unless u declared something stupid in ur report (comments like "i was drunk" or "i am p-plate so a bit scared and lost when i saw him turhing out" best be avoided
), the case is as good as won.

The pick-up driver didn't stop at the stopline. Period.
My brother was caught in a similar situation a while ago. He won the case as the old Nissan driver, who wanted to makan him and accused him of speeding, was determined by investigation that he didn't stop at the stopline. So the case is very straightforward.
Furthermore, the damages are as clear as broad daylight that it is damaged from the side. The tire marks would explain more. -

I met with an accident on 24 Aug. Which is on Wednesday.... damn suay sia. Hai. The road was clear n dry... I was travelling on the major road... Was doing ard 60-65. Got this pick up. Was from a minor road... Was an uncontrolled T-junction by the way... The driver did not stop at the STOP LINE.
He carry on to turn right n applied my e-brakes... jialat... can't stop in time... For ur info, it was a pick up carrying those gas cylinders... wa knn sia... den bang. hit the right side front bumper of the pick up... lucky neva hit the centre of the pick up... When he check none of my 3 passenger injured, he started kow peh kow bu... coz mayb i was wearing my sch uniform. den somemore i p-plate ma. he thing he can ' makan' me... nb.... he said i was speeding...
while were xchanging particulars, he suddenly piss off.... he say i tok my finger point point at him... he say i buay song... No need to worry much,I've once reported to TP about a Merc Taxi road bully who even threathen to beat my friend up who is driving a car.The cabbie was penalised and was dismissed from the company.

Too got an accident there, but wayyyy more serious than yours. The front of the car just, you know, flattened. But at tat kind of demonic speed, I'm amazed no one got hurt.

this pickup driver would probably produce a statement which he thinks might favour his case. but changing his GIA statement after reading these posts is highly unlikely. what else could this driver claim beside 'i check that there are no oncoming traffic, turned right and wannabe travelling at high speed and rammed onto my vehicle? i have stated the barometer of GIA, and all insurance based on these guidelines to conclude ones liability. wannabe will have a liability of 10-20%, so unless TP is involved if there are any injured person due to the accident who has 3 or more days of mc. insurance will conclude the case themselves.
if wannabe's insurance company penalised on wannabe's age and driving experience, at worst tis case will be concluded at 50-50, both parties ncds and premiums will be affected. -
Don't worry, if you are telling the truth, the report will clearly state where the accident happen and which junction.

You think insurance companies or everyone interested to see pictures taken by any tom or dick ? They just look at the junctions diagram, and see who have the right of way, also by looking at the damage of both car can already see who is right or wrong.
If he is so confident of he is not wrong, he don't have to keep calling you to try to frightened you. He can scream that he got lawyer so, what ! Don't even need to talk to him anymore. Your insurance company will tell you what to do, they also got lawyer what , you think your insurance company what to pay that idiot if he is in the wrong ? btw, so how on earth does the barometer works?? i do believe it will not be so clear cut. It'l more likely to be based on many underlying factors. Hence, if in the first place u need a 'barometer' to 'calculate' the percentage of damage to be bonded by either drivers, it jus means: things are not so clear cut and hence you cant exactly say 'wannabe is liable to 10-20%, or lorry will be liable to 90% etc...it all depends. Take tailslide eg..did he pay a single cent??
