i never really had any accident, only there was once I was doing a 3-point turn, then i reversed into a drain, and my jeep got stuck in there
there were some people doing renovation in one of the nearby houses, the bangla workerscame and helped to push and also the contractor tied a rope to his pickup and used it to pull my jeep up from there
it was quite funny, then I gave i think $50 for them to buy coffee -
mine was some very unlucky one... mine was overseas and it was winter then and the ground was ice.
was doing a u-turn i guess at 5-15 km/h.... but at the 'apex' of the turn... the entire car simply lost grip and hit a parked car with a couple "planning to make out"
anyway.. the location was a at school campus car park.
i think i must have spoiled their day, like how they spoilt mine. because the guy exaggerated his "injury" and was sent to hospital.
stupid guy lah... when the accident just happened, he can walk out of the car and asked if i could drive and scolded a whole lot of vulgarities.
but when the ambulance, and police come.. he can suddenly feel so weak and lie down on the chair... claiming he got headache.
anyway, total damage to both cars about $15000. haha. my air bag kena deployed... $3500 already. then his car axle koyak or something like that. haha
to add to that i kena speeding ticket. bloody hell... because that guy say i was driving at 80km/h... like how the hell he knows. haha
anyway.. it was a minor speeding ticket lah.... it's just speed relative to conditions. -
i never kenna accident or demerit points before
mine most unluckiest moment is when my veh broke down on ecp and i have to get out from it and call the tow truck -
my new car was on the road for less than 2months, one Toyota Lite Ace just "rub" thru my stationed car. Initially i thot is nothing, till i get down n check...oh my!
i ran after tha Ah Pei who finished delivery and i confronted him.
he denied...but his car oso ganna my car metallic paint.
when i ask for his IC he refuse keep asking me go ahead report to police.
then i told him do he wants me to report he "hit n run"?
Then he quickly said, "ok! i will pay u S$60 and off the case." I did not get his $ and insist his IC. Finally he agreed and meet next day @workshop.
Next day, @workshop he thks for not reporting to police as the claims will go 2his boss. he is just a delivery man and he even suspect i m out for his $. i told him if i m out 2cheat him, i won't take my new car to do such cheat.
the total repaint is S$180. count him lucky...cheap cheap. but for a delivery man...may is his few days salary. -
tight turning, scaped my left passenger side..
poorly lit countdown carpark....my car kissed the pillar -
reversinginside petrol kiosk n knock down someone who like to walk behhind moving car. send him to A & E n waited for more than two hours. his feet swollen double the normal size n can see he in great pain. waited too long then i go complain to the nurse lor n they check on him, guess wat they said....... tis one not life threatening, he can wait. aft tat the poor fellow finally get to see the doctor n i overheard the doctor asking him want to report to the police for tis accident or not. wat a KP. luckily he nvm.
in the end pay abt $100 to settle the medical bill then send him home. -

Mine is the most suay one....it happened about one month adn 2 weeks ago...drove to camp to pack my duffel bag for my overseas training which was next week....upon finishing it started to rain very very heavily....not wanting my dad to wait outside at the campgate in this kinda weather i quickly rushed down to the car and drove off...when i turned right out from my company line it was a gentle left hander....was travelling at 40km/h but due 2 poor visibility didn't notice that my left wheel was on the grass(my camp roads have no curbs) and suddenly my steering felt loose and my car was veering too much to the left...i turned abit to the right and my car's rear end started to break away bit....I countersteered and gave it some throttle and thats where all hell broke loose....my car spun out...and went onto the other direction of the road with its nose facing the correct way but then its continued to slide left straight slammed into the ditch and tilted 45 deg....by then i was in a daze but recovering the car was the main pirority so i turned full lock right and accelerated out.....it looked okay as there was no broken glass and i was hoping that it was only a knock but upon reaching the road and moving my steering was very wierd and i heard a very loud scraping noise...so i went out and had a look...to my shock the whole rear axle was torn out and the left side suspension(both front and back) were ruined...and the rear left driveshaft(my car's 4WD) was torn out too....towed it to the workshop for repairs....damage was:
Broken rear axle,broken front left suspension,btoken rear left wishbone/driveshaft, Broken transfercase,gyroscope and g-sensor(basically my whole 4WD system was ruined) and the gearbox needs to be realigned...total cost was $20.3k....luckily i only had to pay $2500 and tan chong nearly declared the veh as "beyond repair" and till this day its not back yet and repairs have just begun as most of the parts need to be shipped from japan...one lesson learnt from this...don't trust your computer aids or yr 4wd system too much....don't wanna go into the details and confuse u guys... -

Kissed the back of a Hyundai Matrix in January this year. She braked hard
and I couldn't stop in time cos i was close behind her car.
Ended up paying about 3.5k for her repair and 0.5k from my own.
Of course claim from insurance lah....
But end up the insurance premium for 2nd year no discount... hahah
Also have to fork out $550 excess when the accident happened.
2s of distraction is all it takes to burn a big hole in my pocket. All i remember that time I had a quarrel with my family and i couldn't really concentrate on the driving.

again, tailgaters getting their retribution -
it was on last year's 3rd day of CNY. the merc in front of me stopped suddenly so i e-brake too. i managed to stop in time but the 5 cars behind me couldn't, so we in the end, i think the last car paid for everything. his car was in a total wreck too.

that was the only accident i was in...
during NS.. the ambulance driver was driving the ambulance around a sweeping curve.. the car coming from the other way came into our lane so we had to get out of the way to avoid a head-on..
the ambulance went up the kerb, and into a drain..
i did a superman out the windscreen..
