Which Civics are KM actually bringing in?

There're quite a number of models that can be found on the net. Seems that there are models of differing front n rear lights, i.e lights that look like Odyssey's n Integra are of different models. Heard that there's the european n jap models..
Also, there are contradictions in KM's specs when compared to the specs obtained thru the link of honda.com.sg
Anyone else here who has made a booking for the new Civic can help?

they are bringing in the 1.8 sedan and 2.0 sedan.
unfortunately, all do not come with sun roof....physical car should be in by nov.
they are taking orders already and if u book now..it will only be delivered early next yr......

i've been to the "coming soon" link from the honda webby. i was juz confused abt the models indicated as 1.8GL, 1.8G, 1.8S, MX etc. coz i;m not sure which is actually the 1.8 sedan 5AT vti-s.Originally posted by w2k_83:The new Civic is the jap model and not the Euro version... n thank god they are bringing in the jap version.. coz it seems to look nicer than the euro version. i mean wif the lights being nicer.. agree?

If i never rem wrongly, the new civic does not come with manual-override... I tink the ones u saw are overseas specs... SG only has 2 versions of the 1.8l sedan, VTI and VTI-S. Both are the same except for the cosmetic differences, juz like Mazda 3 sport and Latio sport... New civic wheelbase is 2700, it it too long for some multi-stoery car park sharp bend.

i was doubtful too, until i checked the overide function with KM's agent. There truely is tiptronic in the vti-s. The Civic 1.8GL.... abit CMI in terms of looks.. Totally spoil the Civic lineage..
And why cant they bring in the nicer looking US version? I mean, just look at the huge-assed Accords that KM brings.. compared to the uber cool Accord Euro-R.. And they've just done it again with the Civic. -

Wheelbase is different from the length of the car... The length of a car can remain the same but yet the wheelbase expands... Wheelbase is actually the distance between the front and rear wheels, so the car length can remain the same but the length of the engine bay or boot can shorten to allow the wheelbase to expand... Haha yep.. But i think spoiler is really part of a Civic. I asked around and a lot of people agree that the SIR, Vti, etcs really do look nicer with a spoiler. I think I shall stay safe abit.. Wait for second or third batch to arrive then buy. But the new civic really looks.. unique. Think I'll go for the Altis or Camry 2.0 liao
