Yes, the bonnet of the Mazda is not smashed.. It was the left side.. which explains why the SE got killed.Originally posted by tailslide:it wasn't a head on impact. the brunt of the impact on the mazda was from the side and the beemer in front. therefore, it proves nothing other than the fact that some low life juz juz have no regard for the safety of others.
some dumb conclusion.Originally posted by aloof_guy:In conclusion, it wasnt the driver's fault. Its a natural reaction to avoid a car swerving into your lane especially when it was a new sports car.
Meaning we drive on the left side of the road, IE the opposite traffic is on our right.Originally posted by aloof_guy:We drive on the left? Huh? Can u explain clearer thanks.
I dont see why he cant fly over. When he tried to avoid it.
Think you got it wrong. He didnt swerve into incoming traffic but some sort of divider which made the car flipOriginally posted by tailslide:some dumb conclusion.
if swerving my car into the oncoming traffic is a natural reaction to avoid a car swerving into my lane, then singapore will have like what? 14,379 cars flipping over everyday?![]()
I'd rather take my chances E-braking and if unlucky slightly hitting the car in front (The car is designed to withstand frontal collisions rather than side collisions) than hero and play stunts.Originally posted by tailslide:some dumb conclusion.

But you still havent ans.. How is it possible to swerve left but end up on the opposite side of the road on the right....Originally posted by aloof_guy:If a car swerves to your lane your brake? I think i'll swerve slightly to the opposite direction cause breaking would cause the car behind me to hit me too mah.
Like.. this?Originally posted by aloof_guy:He hit the divider and the car flew
no logic...if i'm the driver of the MX5, either i speed up or slow down for the beemer to cut my lane rather than cutting here n there..Originally posted by nightsky87:Like.. this?
Yes, agree, exactly my point!Originally posted by kentheman:no logic...if i'm the driver of the MX5, either i speed up or slow down for the beemer to cut my lane rather than cutting here n there..
I dont know how r u related to him. How do you know he wasn't speeding? the curb on that road ia quite high, MX-5 is not a 4X4, without enought momentum, such a low CG car will not "fly over" the curb.Originally posted by aloof_guy:This was what happened.
Firstly he wasnt speeding.
At that time, especially with the construction on(7pm) its hard to speed with the traffic.
Some Bmw swerved into his lane, he tried to avoid it be steering left but he went up the curve and landed on the other side of the road. But another bmw was moving and it hit the girl's side of the door.
