Hey guys, any of you have information about the working life of a sales executive in the automotive industry? Need to know stuff like what the job is like, how much the pay might be, commission and whatever else you can provide. Preferably those working with the official distributors.

Hmm...currently, income tax in Singapore stands at 10% right? Therefore it taxable amount totals to 6 digits, earnings could be x,000,000 per annum?? Assuming the lowest possible amount of 1,000,000, that would translate into a monthly of approximately 83k a month? That's quite crazy isn't it?

depends on where you go.
Some offer higher comission, some lower.
Like Performance and Proton difference.
Got 3 type of comission if I'm not wrong.
Sales comission
Loan comission
Insurance comission
that's why everytime got cash back and promo stuff
you will have to get loan and insurance by them. -
Ooh ook.. Any idea about what kind of percentages those commissions are roughly?
And what about the difficult side to the job? -

SEs do more than juz earn finance, car and insurance commission. if u trade in ur ride, they sell and earn commission. if they scrap ur ride, they also get commission. if they refer customers to other dealers wanting 2 buy other cars, they also earn commission........ so dun believe everything the SEs tell u to be the whole pic of how much they earning. -
