Why so little Evos?

i still see Evo 8s and 9s... some 7s... but hardly HARDLY Evo 6s and below. hmm.

i read somewhere that u need 2000 bucks each month to maintain an evo. that includes tax, petrol, engine oil and cost of the car itself of course.

but thats comparing 2 extreme price range for each individual model.
an evo rs costs juz over 100k with coe. a UK spec sti going for juz under 100k with coe. in terms of performance, the evo rs eats the UK spec sti big time.
an evo gsr costs juz under 130k with coe vs a jdm sti spec c costing juz over 130k with coe. now, the tables are turned.
compare a 130k evo gsr with a 80k base rex with a "pathetic" 225 hps? dats like comparing malaysia D24 durian to lim chu kang durian. same shell, same category. different stuff inside altogether.
u guys not comparing spec 2 spec for evos vs rex 4 a full pic. true, the reason there are more evos than rexes are due to the general pricing, but u need 2 know wad u are paying for in the 1st place before even saying stuff like "evo not bang for buck".

well as all our friends here has mention the main cruical thing is cost btw the two cars
well for evo i do admit it is much more exp, both are nice cars but the price differences are too wide thus the number of evos cannot compare with wrx
imagine this for a wrx sti ver and an evo performance, bcos of the wide difference, a wrx can use the addition money to modify his ride, but the evo another hand already cost a difference of abt 30-35k with this amt of money the wrx owner can modifiy many stuff already. right.
and ppl has different liking also some like rex some like evo right.
i used to drive an E6 , then i tried my friends wrx ver 8 cool car indeed.
so the main thing is on ppl liking and cost.
both evo and rex are nice cars as i can say.

BTW, you can't hear the Mivec roar, really. The AVCS roar is almost inaudible in the STis too. -

I think Altezza nice....but my friends say not worth the money...they say Accord Euro Type R cheaper and better than IS200...but IS250 also nice wat...
