I once seen a White Hummer outside a marine security office while taking 188 to Harbourfront. It was first time i seen a hummer in real life. As the bus as moving as I pass i did not manage to take picture but enough time to reconginise the lettering on the white plate "U.S Navy"

Anyway when or will they start to sell Hummer here in singapore any time soon?

As far as I know the only hummers you probably can see is from US Military.
Last time they shipped US tonners and Hummers in for an exercise with Singapore in 2003. Saw them around Bedok Camp area, they still retain their US plates though.
i won't be surprised if the Sembawang US navy base has a few hummers, but those will either have USN 1234 or US 1234 AF plates.
I don't think anyone in their "sane" mind will own a hummer in singapore with such road tax system.
Plus i doubt they can pass emission standards.
which makes me wonder... how did H2 pass Calfornia emission standard.Edited by Ponders 13 Feb `06, 5:27PM

PIMPThere is no basement in that house. And no, he is not a drug dealer - his actual business is much bigger in terms of revenue than most drug dealers.

I know what company you are talking about. I also ever saw a SCDF Hummer before in a fire station last year but can't remember which station is it.
